Summary: Under the direction of the CNO, Nursing Director: Inpatient Services, and charge nurses, this position encompasses the provision and management of patient care through implementation of the nursing process, delegation to and supervision of licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordination of interdisciplinary care.

Minimum
Qualifications:
License & Certifications
Current unencumbered Arizona (or Compact) Registered Nursing License
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Experience:
Required one year experience
Preferred two years critical care experience within the last five years
Knowledge and Skills
Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and written
Above average computer skills
Demonstrates ability to navigate the electronic healthcare record
Familiar with Microsoft word and excel
Able to work and multitask in fast paced environment
Familiar with RN, LPN, & CNA scope of practice
Above average organizational skills
Able to manage, prioritize, and delegate patient care appropriately and effectively
Verbalizes understanding of the Nursing Process to direct patient care effectively
Demonstrates knowledge of common disease processes, treatment modalities, and interventions
Verbalizes knowledge of safe and accurate medication administration principles

Provides holistic care through proactive and timely implementation of ordered medical, as well as nursing, interventions to provide and promote patient wellness.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
